Decisions 2010

Traditional 5-A-Side does not have official rules (which is part of the spirit of the game). To make the game applicable to youth soccer in Colorado, we have adapted the general rules loosely followed in British games. All can be downloaded here. Major differences to 3v3 and 11v11 are highlighted on the right. As this is an organic game in its first year, we reserve the right to modify rules as the season progresses, if can see a better way of doing things.

 

No coaching will be tolerated from any parent or coach to anyone on the field of play. "Coaches" may only coach players who are currently off the field. Referees will give a free kick for any violations. Our goal is to let the players relax and learn to solve their own problems.

Semi-final and Final games tied at full time will be decided by standard format FIFA penalty shootout (best of 5 then sudden death).
